Murty`s First Summer Action For Rangers Should Be…

Things are getting exciting at the moment and I must say I`m feeling more content with the way the club is than I have for some amount of time.

We`re not back where we should be just yet, but I can feel us on the way and I`m sure we`ll be on top of the league sooner rather than later.

Of course, we could even manage that this season if we get the three points at the weekend to put that lot under pressure but I`m more thinking next year is going to be the one where we return to the top of the tree.

With that in mind, then, Graeme Murty needs to get some good signings in this summer and build on his squad and I have no doubt that he is going to be able to do that.

During his spell in charge we`ve seen a nice team being put together full of energy and character and I think the first man who should come in permanently in the summer really does embody that - Jason Cummings.

When he arrived, I had my reservations to say the least.

Not only because of his Hibernian past but also because he does seem like someone who might be hard to control - I think that might be why Forest let him leave on loan.

However, he soon put my former fear to bed with his social media posts after the move and the latter, well, you can just see that he is thriving up here.

Clearly, GM is a master at getting the best out of players no matter how they are in terms of, shall we say, vibrancy, and I want that to continue with the attacker.

I think he`s the kind of personality we need at our club as we aim to restore ourselves to the top and so let`s make his deal permanent in the next window.

Agree with me? Let me know!
