Why Murty Must Keep Stirring The Transfer Mix For Rangers

Why Murty Must Keep Stirring The Transfer Mix For Rangers

It sounds a bit cynical, but I love the fact that we`ve wound up Ian Holloway at QPR with Murty`s recent comments over young Sean Goss.

I think we`re not too far away from winning the league in the coming seasons.

That lot across the city would obviously be all too happy to tell us that there`s no chance of happening but you can just smell their fear.

They know that beating our nine in a row is something they`re not going to manage, and it`s been reflected in what`s been a shaky season for them; they can sense the Gers are coming.

I`m a big fan of Graeme and what he has done for our club, so I`d be more than happy to see him stay for a long period of time, particularly with this squad he is assembling.

Clearly, he`s got an eye for good young players and that is something, as a team, we`ve got plenty of heritage in doing.

He fits us well, then, and so does Sean Goss, which is why I`m all for trying to get him to the club, whatever it takes.

Obviously, we want them to sell and I don`t get why their manager got all worked up when he`s let Sean join us on loan, perhaps he knows he`s already lost the player long-term?

If he cared that much, too, surely he`d have kept hold of him?

I say, then, that Murty does his best to retain Goss past this season. Let`s get in his ear and tell him he`s wanted here more.

He can surely already see the direction we`re heading in and certainly the size of the club - does he want that, or a mid-table finish every year in the Championship?

Let`s not give up now Holloway has said his piece, let`s only keep the chase up and show the player how much we want him, regardless of it winding them up at Loftus Road.

At the end of the day, Goss will make the call.

Shall we do more to get Goss? Or call off the chase? Let me know!
