Caixinha Canned By Rangers
Following issues shall we say all season long, it appears last night's draw with Kilmarnock was the final straw for the Rangers board and today we parted company with Pedro Caixinha.
Having been appointed in March, a statement by the Official Site pointed out that 'results have been disappointed and not commensurate with the level of investment' that Caixinha had available to him.
A search for a new manager is now underway and whilst Caixinha carries the can, a number of players need to look at themselves as well.
In the interim period head development coach Graeme Murty takes caretaker charge once again.
Assistant manager Helder Baptista and coaches Pedro Malta and Jose Belman also leave Ibrox with Caixinha - who now becomes the shortest serving manager in history at the club with only 229 days in position.
