Rangers In Talks With Targets

Rangers In Talks With Targets

Pedro Caixinha is confident Rangers will soon unveil new signings, confirming talks with 'really keen' targets are underway.

These players the boss is looking to sign will only be spoken to if it's clear Rangers is the club they want to join, not just another of the options they have.

Caixinha told Rangers TV, via Sky Sports: 'We are dealing and negotiating with players. We already have some of the players that are out of competition and are already on vacation. One important thing is all of those players are really keen to come and play for Rangers. It is not a question of them seeing what happens, if maybe they have other options.'

The players targeted by Caixinha, most seemingly close to agreeing deals, are known well to the boss. Rangers will then announce the deals when officially done.

He added: 'All of them want to come and I know them as well. I appreciate all the efforts and work these players are doing to come here. So it is a question of getting the deals done and then making the announcements.'

On-loan Bournemouth midfielder Emerson Hyndman has of course returned to his parent club due to injury with Clint Hill and Philippe Senderos reportedly informed they've got no future at Ibrox?

Caixinha wouldn't comment on who is leaving but did confirm he's already informed some they'll be seeking pastures new this summer.

He said: 'I have already met with three players and already they know their situation for next season. They are not going to continue with us. For me, it is important that they learn this from me and the others will also be announced in the correct manner.'

This Sky Sports report went on to say Will Vaulks, of Rotherham, who had been linked with Rangers, has no intention of leaving the club despite their relegation from the Championship.
