Zaliukas Signs Rangers Deal

Marius Zaliukas has signed a two year deal with Rangers this week after impressing in a second trial spell with us.

The Lithuanian defender was on trial with us last summer, and despite manager Ally McCoist being open to a deal being done, he chose to move down to England and take up a role at Leeds United.

That didn't quite work out for him really, so he returned the other week for another trial and this time agreement has been struck.

The 30 year old defender brings good experience to our back line now and could be in contention to face the club he used to skipper on the opening day of the Championship campaign this season.
