Buckie Thistle 0-3 Rangers

Buckie Thistle 0-3 Rangers

Our opening pre season friendly of the summer ended with the perfect result for manager Ally McCoist and the boys.

A comprehensive victory gives us a solid start to build on as we continue to look for fitness ahead of the coming Championship season and of course victory is the perfect way to get that winning mindset back and start to play ourselves into some good confident form.

Goals from Calum Gallagher (brace) and a Kenny Miller strike gave us the result that everyone had hoped for and McCoist will have been happy with the positives he could take from the 90 minute showing, despite being quick to point out ahead of the game that the result and performance wasn't nearly as important as the run out and the fitness bonus we would gain from it.
