Temps and Fran set to feature in cup
Yesterday we reported that Rangers boss hopes to have David Templeton back fit. Well it looks like he may play on Sunday as he and Fran Sandaza are set to be in the squad for the game against Elgin on Sunday. We also reported earlier in the week that Fran Sandaza made a scoring return to action for the reserves.
The return of those two players will be a massive boost for McCoist and certainly give him more options. McCoist said about Sandaza: 'Fran`s health is of paramount importance but I`m hoping we can get him in the squad this weekend. I`ll speak to him and the doctor about that.'
And regarding Templeton, he said: 'David has been back training and he`s looking lively. He has come through training fine and provided there`s no reaction he`ll be in the squad for Sunday."
