RFC Takeover: Murray rejects King?

RFC Takeover: Murray rejects King?

This morning's latest takeover speculation suggests that Sir David Murray and Dave King are some way apart in agreeing a deal for Rangers, according to The Scottish Sun.

Despite many people in the know suggesting that Murray only wants a nominal fee for the club - thought to be roughly thought to be the £6 million he originally bought us for - Iain King is suggesting that Murray is holding out for £40 million.

The same journalist is also suggesting that Sir David Murray rejected an offer from Douglas Park, the motoring tycoon, earlier this year after Park stated that Murray should allow someone else to run the club.

Murray is a lot of things but he isn't stupid, I would be very surprised if he is holding out for this kind of money, it more than likely that the only thin holding the whole deal up is the debt repayment any new owner would get.

As always, we'll keep you up to date with all the latest speculation - and leave it up to you to decide whether it's true or not.
